Registration is officially open for Northville Public Schools’ 2026-2027 Kindergarten and Young 5s programs. The Young 5s program is specifically designed for children turning five between July and December who would benefit from an additional year of social and academic growth before Kindergarten. Families are encouraged to visit the district website immediately to review age eligibility requirements and enroll their children.

Meads Mill Middle School marked a major milestone on December 2nd as students, staff, families, and alumni came together to celebrate the school’s 50th anniversary. The event honored five decades of academic excellence, meaningful relationships, and a strong sense of community that has defined Meads Mill since its opening in 1975.

Students from Hillside and Meads Mill Middle Schools spent an inspiring day at the 2025–2026 Be Nice Student Symposium, held at the Hellenic Cultural Center in Westland. The event brought together students from across southeast Michigan to build leadership skills, strengthen school culture, and promote mental health awareness through the Be Nice action plan: notice, invite, challenge, empower.
