Moraine Elementary School celebrated its designation as a 2024 National Blue Ribbon School, recognizing its commitment to student empowerment and academic excellence. Principal Joe Reimann and school representatives accepted the award in Washington, D.C., while students and staff back home cheered via a live stream; Moraine now plans a Service Learning Project to give back to the Northville community.

Northville Public Schools hosted the miGoogle 2024 Conference on November 5 at Northville High School, welcoming over 500 educators from across Michigan to explore innovative ways to enhance student learning through technology. With expert-led sessions and inspiring keynotes, the event equipped teachers with tools and strategies to engage students in a rapidly evolving digital world.

Northville Public Schools is proud to announce its recognition with two MSPRA awards: the 2024 Award of Excellence for the Mustang Moments Podcast and the Award of Merit for the Classroom Close-Ups video series. These achievements celebrate NPS’s commitment to innovative storytelling and connecting with the community through inspiring stories from students, staff, and community members.

In this special episode of Mustang Moments, Dr. RJ Webber sits down with Northville High School’s Aerospace Club students. Northville Public Schools continues to lead the way in educational excellence with the thriving success of its Young 5’s program. Kinderstangs launched as a cornerstone initiative by the Board of Education, the program is not only enriching the academic journey of the district's youngest learners but is also increasing student enrollment, further solidifying Northville’s reputation as a top-tier educational institution.

All six Northville elementary schools earned spots on the 2024 Leader in Me Lighthouse Academic Honor Roll, ranking in the top 94th percentile in Michigan for academic proficiency. This recognition highlights their exceptional academic performance and commitment to a leadership-centered school culture.

Northville High School Theatre is set to present the uproarious comedy The Play That Goes Wrong on November 21, 22, and 23. Join the hapless cast as they attempt a murder mystery filled with hilarious mishaps and non-stop laughter!

Ahlam Salem, a Resource Teacher at Hillside Middle School, has been appointed by Governor Gretchen Whitmer to the Governor’s Educator Advisory Council. Salem will serve a term from September 2024 through May 2028, advising on public education legislation and best practices in Michigan's education system.

Danielle Pigeon created the LemonAid Challenge to raise awareness for pediatric cancer after her daughter, Emilia, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma. Participants bite into four lemon slices, donate based on their completion time, and share their videos on social media to highlight the urgent need for increased funding and support for children with cancer.
