Voters Approve Sinking Fund Millage Renewal

Northville Public Schools is pleased to share that the Sinking Fund Millage Renewal Proposal was approved by voters in the August 5, 2025 special election, according to unofficial results from both Wayne and Oakland counties.

The combined unofficial results show the proposal passed with approximately 71% voting YES:

Wayne County: 73.27% YES | 26.73% NO

Oakland County: 66.26% YES | 33.74% NO

This renewal extends the existing .9357 mill levy from 2026 through 2035, ensuring continued funding for school infrastructure repairs, instructional technology, and facility improvements—without increasing taxes or impacting classroom operations.

“We are incredibly grateful to our community for renewing their investment in our students and schools,” said Superintendent Dr. RJ Webber. “This support allows us to focus on safety, innovation, and maintaining high-quality learning environments across the district.”

Progress updates on Sinking Fund 2025 projects, along with updates on Bond 2023 improvements, will be shared regularly on the Northville Public Schools website and social media channels.
